OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2002 by John “JB” Behrens, JBL Construction began as a family-owned business rooted in strong relationships, building science, and hands-on expertise. Originally focused on medical and commercial projects, JBL evolved into high-end residential construction, driven by a commitment to doing things the right way, from the inside out. Today, under the leadership of JB’s son Andrew Behrens, a licensed general contractor and professional engineer, JBL continues to deliver exceptional craftsmanship with in-house capabilities in drafting, engineering, framing, drywall, trim carpentry, and more. With decades of experience, a growing team, and a reputation built on trust, transparency, and precision, JBL Construction proudly serves clients across Northeast Florida with the same values it was founded on.
